Fresh from a four-continent tour that saw her play high-energy concerts across the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia and the United Kingdom, culminating in a triumphant performance at Toronto’s historic Massey Hall, acclaimed Canadian rocker Terra Lightfoot has announced a new run of North American live dates for early 2018. Dates appear below.

With her recently released album New Mistakes (Sonic Unyon), Lightfoot offers up something rare: the kind of genuine document that can only come from a road-tested breed of songwriter and performer. Shot through with the guitarist-vocalist’s powerful, bluesy soul, vivid lyrics and ferocious six-string virtuosity, it’s an unforgettable outing.

From the ground-shaking stomp of “Paradise” and wild-eyed energy of “Pinball King” that open the set to the psychedelic, gospel-tinged album closer “Lonesome Eyes,” Lightfoot’s third record distills her masterful talent to its electrifying essence. It’s her hungriest and most raw album to date.

Lightfoot will kick off 2018 with hometown dates backed by the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra strings, and wrap up this run with special guest, Australian songwriter William Crighton, with whom she recently teamed up for her Australian Tour.

"Canada’s Terra Lightfoot has a huge voice and a big and gutsy guitar tone to match. The powerful double-barreled musical attack makes her latest album simultaneously alluring and exciting. It’s packed with dynamics and moods, and it traverses styles from southern and classic rock to ambient to blues to echoes of Marc Bolan and T. Rex" – Guitar Player

"If you haven't seen Terra Lightfoot perform live, then do yerself a favour and get a ticket next time she's in town. Lightfoot is the total package: she can write a hooky tune, rip through a blistering guitar solo and sing the hell out of any song she likes" – CBC Music

William Crighton is a sublimely talented Australian folk-rock artist. He is a riveting storyteller, with a sound that is bold, visceral and singular. Within a short time, Crighton has drawn a big buzz in Australia. Buoyed by the success of his fascinating debut album that gathered four and a half star reviews, he has captivated audiences with next level live shows. Rolling Stone featured him as one of Australia's hottest rising stars. He's been booked on a seamless string of festivals including WOMADelaide, opened for The Beach Boys and The Temptations on tour, received radio play around his native Australia, and a stunning set of live reviews. Crighton will be showcasing new music from his anticipated second album, due for release in 2018.

"Uniquely penetrating storytelling” – Rolling Stone

“It would not be unfair to say Crighton’s growing legion of followers come along for a near-religious experience. To say he’s capable of taking an audience to another level is not an understatement.” - Newcastle Herald
